THE PROPHECIES OF JESUS
There are twenty-one sets of prophecies
spoken by Jesus. (21 x 71. One group (7 x 71 includes His
predictions which were fulfilled during His ministry. A second
group, (7 x 7) comprises His prophecies fulfilled during the entire
Age. The final group. 17 x 7) includes His prophecies which relate
to His Second Coming. |
I. Predictions Made to
Individuals—Fulfilled During Ministry 1. DISCIPLES
TO BECOME FISHERS OF MEN
Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Matt. 4:19.
2. FORETELLS THE DRAUGHT OF FISHES
Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a
draught. Luke 5:4.
3. FORETELLS THE TRANSFIGURATION
Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which
shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in
his kingdom. Matt. 16:28.
4. FORETELLS A FISH WITH A COIN IN ITS MOUTH
Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the
sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh
up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find z.
piece of money: take that, and give unto them for me and thee.
Matt. 17:27.
5. FORETELLS THE RAISING OF LAZARUS
Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him
out of sleep. John 11:11. Thy brother shall rise again. John
11:23.
6. FORETELLS THE MAN BEARING A PITCHER
Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man
meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house
where he entereth in. Luke 22:10.
7. FORETELLS THE FURNISHED ROOM FOR PASSOVER
And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master
saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat
the passover with my disciples? And he shall shew you a large
upper room furnished: there make ready. Luke 22:11-12.

II. Predictions Made to
Individuals—Fulfilled at Death and Resurrection 1.
FORETELLS PETER'S DENIAL
Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock
crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. Matt. 26:34.
2. FORETELLS THE SCATTERING OF THE DISCIPLES
All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is
written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock
shall be scattered abroad. Matt. 26:31.
3. FORETELLS HIS MEETING WITH THE DISCIPLES AFTER
RESURRECTION IN GALILEE
But after I am risen again, I will go before you into
Galilee. Matt. 2G:32.
4. FORETELLS HIS BURIAL
Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work
upon me. For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have
not always. For in that she hath poured this ointment on my
body, she did it for my burial. Matt. 26:10-12.
5. FORETELLS PENITENT THIEF HE SHALL BE WITH HIM IN
PARADISE
Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in
paradise. Luke 23:43.
6. SPEAKS OF HIS DEATH WITH TRANSGRESSORS (THE TWO

For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be
accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors.

Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall

III. Predictions Made to
Disciples—Fulfilled After Ascension 1. PETER TO HAVE
KEYS TO KINGDOM OF HEAVEN
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this
rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not
prevail against it.—And I will give unto thee the keys of the
kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall
be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth
shall be loosed in heaven. Matt. 16:18-19.
2. APOSTLES WERE TO DRINK OF CHRIST'S CUP
Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the
baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand,
and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to
them for whom it is prepared of my Father. Matt. 20:23.
3. BRIDEGROOM TO BE TAKEN—THEN SHALL THE DISCIPLES FAST
Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the
bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the
bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.
Matt. 9:15.
4. PETER'S MARTYRDOM FORETOLD
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou
girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when
thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and
another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest
not. John 21:18.
5. CHRIST'S MEETING WITH JOHN ON PATMOS FORETOLD
If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?
Follow thou me. John 21:22.
6. CHRIST FORETELLS THAT MARY'S ANOINTING HIM SHALL BE
TOLD THROUGHOUT THE WORLD
Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be
preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this
woman bath done, to be told for a memorial of her. Matt. 26:13.
7. APOSTLES TO SIT ON THRONES OF TWELVE TRIBES DURING
REGENERATION
Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the
regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his
glory, ye shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve
tribes of Israel. Matt. 19:28.

IV. Predictions of His Betrayal
1. FORETELLS HIS BETRAYAL
The Son of man shall be betrayed into the sands of men. Matt.
17:22.
2. HIS BETRAYAL TO TAKE PLACE AT THE PASSOVER
Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and
the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified. Matt. 26:2.
3. THE BETRAYER TO BE ONE OF THE DISCIPLES
Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. Matt.
26:21.
4. ONE THAT EATETH BREAD WITH HIM TO BETRAY HIM
I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that
the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me
hath lifted up his heel against me. Now I tell you before it
come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that T am
he. John 13:18-19.
5. ONE WHO SAT AT SUPPER WITH HIM TO BETRAY HIM
He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall
betray me. Matt. 26:23.
6. THE SON OF MAN TO GO AS IT IS WRITTEN OF HIM
The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto
that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good
for that man if he had not been born. Matt. 26:24.
7. JESUS ANNOUNCES THE HOUR OF HIS BETRAYAL WAS COME
Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at
hand. and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray
me. Matt. 26:15-46.

V. Christ Predicts His Death By Crucifixion 1.
THE SON OF MAN TO BE LIFTED UP AS A SERPENT ON A POLE
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so
must the Son of man he lifted up. John 3:14.
2. THE SON OF MAN TO BE LIFTED UP
When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know
that I am he. and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father
hath taught me, I speak of these things. John 8:28.
3. SON OF MAN TO BE LIFTED UP AND TO DRAW MEN UNTO HIM
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men
unto me. John 12:32.
4. SON OF MAN TO BE DELIVERED INTO THE HANDS OF MEN
Let these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of
man shall he delivered into the hands of men. Luke 9:44.
5. SON OF MAN TO BE CONDEMNED TO DEATH
Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be
betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they
shall condemn him to death. Matt. 20:18.
6. SON OF MAN TO BE SCOURGED AND CRUCIFIED
And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to
scourge, and to crucify him. Matt. 20:19.
7. SON OF MAN GIVES HIS LIFE A RANSOM FOR MANY
Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to
minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. Matt. 20:28.

VI. Christ Predicts His
Resurrection on the Third Day at Fulfillment of Plan of Redemption
1. THE TEMPLE OF HIS BODY TO BE RAISED UP AFTER THREE DAYS
Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
John 2:19.
2. HE WAS TO BE SLAIN AND RAISED THE THIRD DAY
The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of
the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be
raised the third day. Luke 9:22.
3. HE WAS TO BE PERFECTED ON THE THIRD DAY
Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do
cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be
perfected. Luke 13:32.
4. AS JONAH WAS THREE DAYS AND NIGHTS IN WHALE'S
BELLY—SO CHRIST IN HEART OF THE EARTH
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's
belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in
the heart of the earth. Matt. 12:40.
5. TO BE KILLED AND RAISED AGAIN ON THE THIRD DAY
The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men: And
they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again.
Matt 17:22-23.
6. GENTILES TO SCOURGE HIM BUT HE WOULD RISE AGAIN ON
THIRD DAY
And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to
scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise
again. Matt. 20:19.
7. SON OF MAN TO RISE THE THIRD DAY
The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they
shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the
third day. Mark 9:31. (See Luke 24:-I6.)

Return to the Father—the Ascension 1. THE SON OF
MAN TO ASCEND UP WHERE HE WAS BEFORE
What and if ye shall see the Sun of man ascend up where he
was before? John 6:62.
2. I GO UNTO HIM THAT SENT ME
Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that
sent me. John 7:33.
3. I GO TO HIM THAT SENT ME
But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you
asketh me, Whither goest thou? John 165.
4. I GO UNTO MY FATHER
Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no
more; John 16:10.
5. A LITTLE WHILE YE SHALL NOT SEE ME
A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little
while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father. John
16:16.
6. I LEAVE THE WORLD AND GO UNTO MY FATHER
I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world:
again. I leave the world, and go to the Father..lohn 16:28.
7. I ASCEND TO MY FATHER AND YOUR FATHER
Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go
to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and
your Father; and to my God, and your God. John 20:17.

VIII. Predictions Concerning the
Coming of the Holy Spirit 1. THE HOLY SPIRIT TO BE
GIVEN (See verse 39)
If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that
believeth on me, as the scripture bath said, out of his belly
shall flow rivers of living water. John 7:37-38.
2. TELLS OF THE COMING OF THE COMFORTER TO ABIDE FOREVER
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another
Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit
of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth hint
not, neither knoweth him, but ye know him; for he dwelleth with
you, and shall be in you. John 1-1:16-17.
3. FORETELLS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT BEING SENT BY THE FATHER
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father
will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring
all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 14:26.
4. HOLY SPIRIT TO PROCEED FROM THE FATHER
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you
from the Father. even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from
the Father, he shall testify of me: John 15:26.
5. FORETELLS HIS DEPARTURE AND THE COMING OF THE HOLY
SPIRIT
Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you
that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not
come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And
when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of
righteousness, and of judgment. John 16:7-8.
6. FORETELLS THE OUTPOURING OF THE SPIRIT AT PENTECOST
And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but
tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power
from on high. Luke 24:49.
7. FORETELLS THE BAPTISM OF THE DISCIPLES WITH THE HOLY
GHOST
Wait for the promise of the Father, which, ye have heard of
me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized
with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. Acts 1:4-5.

IX. Prophecies Concerning Judgment on Jerusalem and Judaea
I. PREDICTS THE DESOLATION OF JERUSALEM (A. D. 66)
And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then
know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which
are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in
the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the
countries enter thereinto. For these be the days of vengeance,
that all things which are writ-ten may be fulfilled. Luke
21:20-22.
2. JERUSALEM TO BE LAID EVEN WITH GROUND
If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the
things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from
thine eyes. For the days shall come upon thee, that thine
enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round,
and keep thee in on every side, And shall lay thee even with the
ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave
in thee one stone upon an-other; because thou knewest not the
time of thy visitation. Luke 19:12-44.
3. FORETELLS THE HOUSE OF THE JEWS TO BE LEFT DESOLATE
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and
stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have
gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her
chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house
is left unto you desolate. Matt. 23:37-38.
4. PREDICTS UTTER DESTRUCTION OF THE TEMPLE
See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There
shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be
thrown down. Matt. 24:2.
5. FORETELLS GENTILE DOMINION OF JERUSALEM
And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be
led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be
trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be
fulfilled. Luke 21:24.
6. FORETELLS JUDGMENT ON POPULATION AT JERUSALEM
Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for
yourselves, and for your children. For, behold, the days are
coming in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and
the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.
Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and
to the hills, Cover us. Luke 23:28-30.
7. PREDICTS THE JUDGMENT OF THE ABOMINATION OF
DESOLATION
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation,
spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso
readth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea
flee into the mountains: Matt. 24:15-16.

X. Prophecies of Judgment on
Generation Rejecting Christ I. PROPHECY OF NINEVEH'S
CONDEMNATION OF THAT GENERATION
The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this
generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the
preaching of Jonas; and. behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
Matt. 12:41.
2. PROPHECY OF THE QUEEN OF SHEBA'S CONDEMNATION OF THAT
GENERATION
The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with
this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the
uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and,
behold, a greater than Solomon is here. Matt. 12:42.
3. PROPHECY OF THE REPROBATION OF THAT GENERATION
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh
through dry places, seeking rest, and finding none. Then he
saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and
when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then
goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more
wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the
last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it
be also unto this wicked generation. Matt. 12:43-45.
4. PROPHECY OF THAT GENERATION BEING CONDEMNED TO HELL
Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the
damnation of hell? Matt 23:33.
5. PROPHECY OF COMPLETE JUDGMENT COMING ON THAT
GENERATION
Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this
generation. Matt 23:36. (See verses 34-35.)
6. PROPHECY OF THE BLOOD OF THE PROPHETS BEING REQUIRED
OF THAT GENERATION
That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the
foundation of the world, may be required of this generation.
Luke 11:50.
7. PROPHECY OF THE RAPID FULFILLMENT OF JUDGMENTS ON
THAT GENERATION
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away.
till all he fulfilled. Luke 21:32.

Foretelling the rapid unsubstantial growth of the Kingdom of
Heaven. Luke 13:19.

Foretelling the gradual infiltration of false doctrine into
the Kingdom of Heaven. Luke 13:20-21.
3. THE BARREN FIG TREE
Foretelling the apostasy of and Divine rejection of the
Jewish Church. Luke 13:6-9.
4. PARABLE OF THE WICKED HUSBANDMAN
Foretelling the taking of the Kingdom of God from the Jews
and giving to another. Matt. 21:33-44.
5. THE GREAT SUPPER
Foretelling that the invitation to God's supper was to be
given to all good or bad—the call of the Gentiles. Luke

6. THE HID TREASURE
Christ sold all that He had to redeem Israel. Matt. 13:44.

XIII. Prophecies of the Kingdom
1. PROPHECY OF THE COMING OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD
So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know
ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. Luke 21:31.
2. PROPHECY OF THE LITTLE FLOCK RECEIVING THE KINGDOM
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure
to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:32.
3. PROPHECY OF THE BLESSED INHERITING THE KINGDOM
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye
blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from
the foundation of the world. Matt. 25:34.
4. PROPHECY OF THE REIGN OF THE RIGHTEOUS IN THE KINGDOM
Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the
kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Matt. 13:43.
5. PROPHECY OF CHRIST DRINKING WITH HIS 'DISCIPLES IN
THE KINGDOM
For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it
be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. For I say unto you, I will
not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God

6. PROPHECY OF THE APOSTLES SITTING ON THRONES IN THE
KINGDOM
Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.
And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed

7. PROPHECIES OF THE GENTILES ENTERING THE KINGDOM
There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall
see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the
kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. And they shall
come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and
from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. Luke
13:28, 29.

XIV. Prophecies of Eternal
Judgment 1. PROPHECY OF MANY GOING THROUGH THE GATE
OF DESTRUCTION
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and
broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be
which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is
the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Matt. 7:13-14.
2. PROPHECY OF THOSE WHO DO INIQUITY BEING CAST INTO
FIRE
The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall
gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which
do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there
shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Matt. 13:41-42.
3. PROPHECY OF THE WICKED BEING CAST INTO FIRE
So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come
forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast
them into the furnace of fire; there shall be wailing and
gnashing of teeth. Matt. 13:49-50.
4. PROPHECY OF THE UNPARDONABLE SIN
Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy
shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy
Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a
word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but
whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be
forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to
come. Matt. 12:31-32.
5. PROPHECY OF THE RESURRECTION OF DAMNATION
Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all
that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come
forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life;
and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of
damnation. John 5:28-29.
6. PROPHECY OF THE CURSED BEING CAST INTO EVERLASTING
FIRE
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart
from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the
devil and his angels. Matt. 25:41.
7. PROPHECY OF EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the
righteous into life eternal. Matt. 25:46.

XV. Prophecies of Intermediate
Events 1. PROPHECY OF THE RISE OF FALSE PROPHETS
Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my
name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And many
false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Matt. 24:4,
5, 11.
2. PROPHECY OF WARS AND RUMORS OF WARS
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be
not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the
end is not yet. Matt. 24:6.
3. PROPHECY OF NATION AGAINST NATION, FAMINES,
PESTILENCES, EARTHQUAKES
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against
kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and
earthquakes, in divers places. Matt. 24:7.
4. PROPHECY OF PERSECUTION OF BELIEVERS
Then shall they deliver you up to he afflicted, and shall
kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's
sake. Matt. 24:9. (See Mark 13:9-11.)
5. PROPHECY OF STRIFE AMONG PROFESSORS
And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one
an-other, and shall hate one another. Matt. 24:10. (See Mark
12:12.)
6. PROPHECY OF APOSTASY
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax
cold. Matt. 24:12.
7. PROPHECY OF SOME BEING FAITHFUL
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be
saved. Matt. 24:13.

XVI. Prophecies of the Great
Tribulation 1. PROPHECY OF THE ABOMINATION OF
DESOLATION

Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let
him which is on the housetop not come down to take anything out
of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back
to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and
to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your
flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day. Matt.
24:16-20.
3. PROPHECY OF DAYS OF AFFLICTION WORST IN WORLD HISTORY
For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from
the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time,
neither shall be. And except that the Lord had shortened those
days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom
he hath chosen, he bath shortened the days. Mark 13:19-20.
4. PROPHECY OF THE GREAT TRIBULATION
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since
the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

And except those days should be shortened, there should no

XVII. Prophecies of the Signs of His Coming
1. PROPHECY OF REPETITION OF THE WICKEDNESS OF THE DAYS OF NOAH
And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the
days of the Son of man. They did eat, *hey drank, they married
wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe
entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them
all. Luke 17:26-27. (See Matt. 24:37-39.)
2. PROPHECY OF THE COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY OF THE DAYS OF
LOT
Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat,
they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and
brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall
it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. In that day,
he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house,
let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the
field, let him likewise not re-turn back. Remember Lot's wife.
Luke 17:28-32.
3. PROPHECY OF WORLD EVANGELIZATION
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the
world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end
come. Matt. 24:14.
4. PROPHECY OF THE BUDDING FIG TREE; NATIONAL RETURN OF
JEWS
And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be
led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be
trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gen-tiles
be fulfilled. Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; When they
now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own-selves that summer
is now nigh at hand. Luke 21:24, 29-30.
5. PROPHECY OF ALL BEING FULFILLED IN ONE GENERATION
So likewise ye. when ye shall see all these things, know that
it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This
generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass
away. Matt. 24:33-35.
6. PROPHECY OF THE DISTRESS OF NATIONS
And there shall he signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in
the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with
perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring. Luke 21:25.

Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after
those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of

But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the
angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up,

shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other
left. Luke 17:33-36.
5. PROPHECY OF THE SUN AND MOON BEING DARKENED
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun
be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the
stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens
shall be shaken. Matt. 24:29.
6. PROPHECY OF CHRIST COMING IN THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven:
and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall
see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet,
and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds,

Resurrection of the Dead 1. PROPHECY OF THE
RESURRECTION FROM THE DEAD
But they which shall he accounted worthy to obtain that
world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor
are given in marriage; Neither can they die any more: for they
are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being
the the children of the resurrection. Luke 20:35-36.
2. PROPHECY OF THE RAISING OF THE DEAD
Now that the dead are raised, even Moses sheaved at the bush,
when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of
Isaac, and the God of Jacob. For he is not a God of the dead,
