There are some views in this book that the owner of HolyPig.com does not agree with but the good information in the book outweighs the slight slide into German Liberalism. The reader must keep in mind that this book was written during the height of German Anti-bible criticism. All of the supposed problems that the author brings up have all been answered by Modern Conservative Biblical Scholarship. My recommendation is to keep the 90% good knowledge in the book and throw out the 10% disproved trash. All mature believers should be aware of the disproved views of Liberal Higher Criticism because the so-called "atheists" love to use disproved info to prop up their foolishness.
