Gabrielino Trail 1

12/24/2009

The Station Fire burned  above the trail so when the rains came two weeks ago it washed a lot of mud & debris into the canyon. It was heart-breaking to see this once grand trail in such sad condition. The stream jumped it's banks & has cut new pathways destroying sections of the trail. I didn't get a chance to check out the El Prieto trail that connects the Gabrielino Trail with Millard Canyon but the road to Millard Canyon was also closed when we tried to get there the first week of December.
