I went back to SGC to see if I could  get a few more picks of the Red-whiskered Bulbul but no luck. I did however get some OK shots of a Northern Flicker (Red-Shafted). I had to shoot somewhat into the sun so the overcast sky is blown out but the Female NF can seen. I already had shots of a Northern Flicker (Yellow-Shafted) so these photos completes the set.

I was observing a battle between a pack of crows & a squirrel. The crows would watch the squirrel & every time the squirrel would stop to burry a nut, the crows would land & try to dig it up. After about 10 attempts by the squirrel to bury one nut he gave up & just sat at the base of a tree & ate it much to the disappointment of the crows.
