Long Haired Bum Of A Fat Man
Rick Swartzentrover - 05-19-80

Lord, I heard a song today
It said you’d take all my hurt away

Well then Lord please tell me why
Why after seven years I still wish to die

Why can’t anyone accept me for who I am?
Just a long haired bum of a fat man

They reject me wherever I go
Then they ask me why I feel so low

I don’t think my self-hatred would be
If only one, just one would love me

I happen to be stuck in this time and place
With forty pounds extra and this ugly face

Why can’t they accept me for who I am?
Just a long haired bum of a fat man

They tell me to cut all my hair away
Then they make me live on 400 calories a day

Wear dress close thy politely implore
Or forget you, we don’t want you any more

Lord I thank you for accepting who I am
Just a long haired bum of a fat man
