τοιαυτη

πορνεια

εργον

τουτο

ποιησας

might be taken

out of

your midst

τοιουτον

σατανα

ολεθρον

της

σαρκος

ινα

to deliver

such a one

to Satan

for

destruction

of the

flesh,

that

πνευμα

σωθη

εν

τη

ημερα

του

κυριου

ιησου

the

spirit

might be saved

in

the

day

of the

of Lord

καυχημα

υμων

ουκ

οιδατε

οτι

μικρα

ζυμη

Not

good [is]

your boasting.

Know ye not

a little

leaven

εκκαθαρατε

ουν

παλαιαν

ζυμην

ινα

ητε

νεον

φυραμα

Purge out

therefore

the

old

leaven

that

ye may be

a new

lump,

καθως

εστε

αζυμοι

και

γαρ

το

πασχα

ημων

υπερ

ημων

according as

ye are

unleavened.

εορταζωμεν

εν

ζυμη

παλαια

μηδε

εν

ζυμη

κακιας

So that

we should celebrate the feast,

not

with

leaven 2

old, 1

nor

with

leaven

of malice

και

πονηριας

αλλ

εν

αζυμοις

ειλικρινειας

και

αληθειας

and

wickedness,

but

with

unleavened [bread]

of sincerity

and

of truth.

εγραψα

υμιν

εν

τη

επιστολη

μη

συναναμιγνυσθαι

πορνοις

I wrote

to you

in

the

epistle,

not

to associate with

fornicators;

και

ου

παντως

τοις

πορνοις

του

κοσμου

τουτου

η

τοις

and

not

altogether

with the

fornicators

of this world,

♦

♦

or

with the

πλεονεκταις

η

αρπαξιν

η

ειδωλολατραις

επει

οφειλετε

αρα

εκ

του

covetous,

or

rapacious,

or

idolaters,

since

ye ought

then

out of

the

κοσμου		εξελθειν
world		to go.

εγραψα

υμιν

μη

συναναμιγνυσθαι

εαν

τις

αδελφος

But now,

I wrote

to you

not

to associate with [him],

if

anyone

πλεονεκτης

ειδωλολατρης

be either a

fornicator

or

covetous,

or

idolater,

or

λοιδορος

μεθυσος

η

αρπαξ

τω

τοιουτω

μηδε

συνεσθιειν

railer,

or

a drunkard,

or

rapacious;

with

such a one

not even

to eat.

God

judges.

And

ye shall put out

the

wicked person

from among

	υμων		αυτων
	yourselves.		♦
