Revelation of John the Theologian

CHAPTER 18
And   after   these things   I saw   an angel   descending   out of   the   heaven,
having   authority 2   great: 1   and   the   earth   was enlightened   with   his glory.

And   he cried   mightily     with a voice 2   loud, 1   saying,   Is fallen,   is fallen
Babylon   the   great,   and   is become   a habitation   of demons,   and   a hold
of every   spirit 2   unclean, 1   and   a hold   of every   bird 4   unclean 1
and 2   hated: 3
because   of   the   wine   of the   fury     fornication 3   of 1 her 2   have 7 drunk 8   all 4
the 5   nations; 6   and   the   kings   of the   earth   with   her   did commit fornication,   and   the
merchants   of the   earth   through   the   power   of her luxury
were enriched.
And   I heard   another   voice   out of   the   heaven,   saying,   Come ye   out of
her,   my people,       that   ye may not have fellowship
in her sins,       and   that   ye may not receive     of     plagues 2
her: 1
for   followed 3   her 1     sins 2   as far as   the   heaven,   and
remembered 2     God 1   her unrighteousness.
Render   to her   as   also   she   rendered   to you;   and   double ye   to her   double,
according to   her works.       In   the   cup   which   she mixed,   mix ye
to her   double.
So much as   she glorified   herself   and   lived luxuriously,   so much   give   to her
torment   and   mourning.   Because   in   her heart       he says,   I sit
a queen,   and   a widow   I am not:     and   mourning   in no wise     may I see.
On account of   this   in   one   day   shall come   her plagues,       death
and   mourning   and   famine,   and   with   fire   she shall be burnt;   for   strong [is the]   Lord
  God   who   judges   her.
And   shall weep for   her,   and   shall bewail   for   her,   the   kings   of the   earth,   who
with   her   committed fornication   and   lived luxuriously,   when   they see   the
