Revelation of John the Theologian

 

CHAPTER 15
  1  και   ειδον   αλλο   σημειον   εν   τω   ουρανω   μεγα   και   θαυμαστον   αγγελους  
    And   I saw   another   sign   in   the   heaven,   great   and   wonderful:   angels 2  
επτα   εχοντας   πληγας   επτα   τας   εσχατας   οτι   εν   αυταις   ετελεσθη   ο  
seven, 1   having   plagues 2   seven, 1   the   last;   because   in   them   was completed   the  
θυμος   του   θεου    
fury   ♦   of God.    
  2  και   ειδον   ως   θαλασσαν   υαλινην   μεμιγμενην   πυρι   και   τους   νικωντας  
    And   I saw   as   a sea 2   glass 1   mingled   with fire,   and   the   overcomers  
εκ   του   θηριου   και   εκ   της   εικονος   αυτου   και   εκ   του   χαραγματος  
of   the   beast,   and   of   its image,   ♦   ♦   and   of   its mark,   ♦  
αυτου   εκ   του   αριθμου   του   ονοματος   αυτου   εστωτας   επι   την   θαλασσαν  
♦   of   the   number   ♦   name 3   of its,   standing   upon   the   sea 2  
την   υαλινην   εχοντας   κιθαρας   του   θεου    
♦   glass, 1   having   harps   ♦   of God.    
  3  και   αδουσιν   την   ωδην   μωσεως   δουλου   του   θεου   και   την   ωδην   του  
    And   they sing   the   song   of Moses,   bondman   ♦   of God,   and   the   song   of the  
αρνιου   λεγοντες   μεγαλα   και   θαυμαστα   τα   εργα   σου   κυριε   ο   θεος  
Lamb,   saying,   Great   and   wonderful [are]   thy works,   ♦   ♦   Lord   ♦   God  
ο   παντοκρατωρ   δικαιαι   και   αληθιναι   αι   οδοι   σου   ο   βασιλευς   των  
♦   Almighty;   righteous   and   true [are]   thy ways,   ♦   ♦   ♦   [thou] King   ♦  
αγιων    
of saints.    
  4  τις   ου   μη   φοβηθη   σε   κυριε   και   δοξαση   το   ονομα   σου   οτι  
    Who   ♦   not   should fear thee,   ♦   O Lord,   and   glorify   thy name?   ♦   ♦   for [thou]  
μονος   οσιος   οτι   παντα   τα   εθνη   ηξουσιν   και   προσκυνησουσιν   ενωπιον  
only [art]   holy;   for   all   the   nations   shall come   an   do homage   before  
σου   οτι   τα   δικαιωματα   σου   εφανερωθησαν    
thee;   for   thy righteous (lit. righteousness)   ♦   ♦   [acts] were manifested.    
  5  και   μετα   ταυτα   ειδον   και   ιδου   ηνοιγη   ο   ναος   της   σκηνης   του  
    And   after   these things   I saw,   and   behold,   was opened   the   temple   of the   tabernacle   of the  
μαρτυριου   εν   τω   ουρανω    
testimony   in   the   heaven;    
  6  και   εξηλθον   οι   επτα   αγγελοι   εχοντες   τας   επτα   πληγας   εκ   του  
    and   came forth   the   seven   angels   having 5   the 6   seven 7   plagues 8   out 1   of 2 the 3  
ναου   ενδεδυμενοι   λινον   καθαρον   και   λαμπρον   και   περιεζωσμενοι  
temple, 4   clothed in   linen   pure   and   bright,   and   girt with  
περι   τα   στηθη   ζωνας   χρυσας    
about 3   the 4   breasts 5   girdles 2   golden. 1    
  7  και   εν   εκ   των   τεσσαρων   ζωων   εδωκεν   τοις   επτα   αγγελοις   επτα  
    And   one   of   the   four   living creatures   gave   to the   seven   angels   seven  
φιαλας   χρυσας   γεμουσας   του   θυμου   του   θεου   του   ζωντος   εις   τους  
bowls 2   golden, 1   full   of the   fury   ♦   of God,   who   lives   to   the  
αιωνας   των   αιωνων    
ages   of the   ages.    
  8  και   εγεμισθη   ο   ναος   καπνου   εκ   της   δοξης   του   θεου   και   εκ  
    And   was 3 filled 4   the 1   temple 2   with smoke   from   the   glory   ♦   of God,   and   from  
της   δυναμεως   αυτου   και   ουδεις   ηδυνατο   εισελθειν   εις   τον   ναον  
his power:   ♦   ♦   and   no one   was able   to enter   into   the   temple  
αχρι   τελεσθωσιν   αι   επτα   πληγαι   των   επτα   αγγελων    
until   were completed   the   seven   plagues   of the   seven   angels.
