CHAPTER 14
  1  και   ειδον   και   ιδου   αρνιον   εστηκος   επι   το   ορος   σιων   και   μετ   αυτου  
    And   I saw,   and   behold,   [the] Lamb   standing   upon   ♦   mount   Sion,   and   with   him  
εκατον   τεσσαρακοντα   τεσσαρες   χιλιαδες   εχουσαι   το   ονομα   του  
a hundred   [and] forty   four   thousand,   having   the   name   of his Father  
πατρος   αυτου   γεγραμμενον   επι   των   μετωπων   αυτων    
♦   ♦   written   on   their foreheads.   ♦   ♦    
  2  και   ηκουσα   φωνην   εκ   του   ουρανου   ως   φωνην   υδατων   πολλων   και  
    And   I heard   a voice   out of   the   heaven   as   a voice   of waters 2   many, 1   and  
ως   φωνην   βροντης   μεγαλης   και   φωνην   ηκουσα   κιθαρωδων  
as   a voice   of thunder 2   great: 1   and   a voice   I heard   of harpers  
κιθαριζοντων   εν   ταις   κιθαραις   αυτων    
harping   with   their harps.   ♦   ♦    
  3  και   αδουσιν   ως   ωδην   καινην   ενωπιον   του   θρονου   και   ενωπιον   των  
    And   they sing   as   a song 2   new 1   before   the   throne,   and   before   the  
τεσσαρων   ζωων   και   των   πρεσβυτερων   και   ουδεις   ηδυνατο   μαθειν  
four   living creatures   and   the   elders.   And   no one   was able   to learn  
την   ωδην   ει   μη   αι   εκατον   τεσσαρακοντα   τεσσαρες   χιλιαδες   οι  
the   song   except   ♦   the   hundred   [and] forty   four   thousand,   who  
ηγορασμενοι   απο   της   γης    
have been purchased   from   the   earth.    
  4  ουτοι   εισιν   οι   μετα   γυναικων   ουκ   εμολυνθησαν   παρθενοι
    These   are   they who   with   women   were not defiled,   ♦   for virgins
  γαρ   εισιν   ουτοι   εισιν   οι   ακολουθουντες   τω   αρνιω   οπου   αν  
  ♦   they are:   these   are   they who   follow   the   Lamb   wheresoever   ♦  
υπαγη   ουτοι   ηγορασθησαν   απο   των   ανθρωπων   απαρχη   τω  
he may go.   These   were purchased   from among   ♦   men   [as] firstfruits   ♦  
θεω   και   τω   αρνιω    
to God   and   to the   Lamb:    
  5  και   εν   τω   στοματι   αυτων   ουχ   ευρεθη   δολος   αμωμοι   γαρ  
    and   in   their mouth   ♦   ♦   was not found   ♦   guile;   for blameless   ♦  
εισιν   ενωπιον   του   θρονου   του   θεου    
they are   before   the   throne   ♦   of God.    
  6  και   ειδον   αλλον   αγγελον   πετωμενον   εν   μεσουρανηματι   εχοντα  
    And   I saw   another   angel   flying   in   mid-heaven,   having  
ευαγγελιον   αιωνιον   ευαγγελισαι   τους   κατοικουντας   επι   της   γης  
[the] glad 2 tidings 3   everlasting 1   to announce [to]   those who   dwell   on   the   earth,  
και   παν   εθνος   και   φυλην   και   γλωσσαν   και   λαον    
and   every   nation   and   tribe   and   tongue   and   people,    
  7  λεγοντα   εν   φωνη   μεγαλη   φοβηθητε   τον   θεον   και   δοτε   αυτω   δοξαν  
    saying   with   a voice 2   loud, 1   Fear   ♦   God,   and   give   to him   glory,  
οτι   ηλθεν   η   ωρα   της   κρισεως   αυτου   και   προσκυνησατε  
because   is come   the   hour   of his judgment;   ♦   ♦   and   do homage to  
τω   ποιησαντι   τον   ουρανον   και   την   γην   και   θαλασσαν   και   πηγας  
him who   made   the   heaven   and   the   earth   and   sea   and   fountains  
υδατων    
of waters.    
  8  και   αλλος   αγγελος   ηκολουθησεν   λεγων   επεσεν   επεσεν   βαβυλων   η  
    And   another   angel   followed,   saying,   Is fallen,   is fallen   Babylon   ♦  
πολις   η   μεγαλη   οτι   εκ   του   οινου   του   θυμου   της   πορνειας  
city 3   the 1   great, 2   because   of   the   wine   of the   fury   of her fornication   ♦  
αυτης   πεποτικεν   παντα   εθνη    
♦   she has given to 3 drink 4   all 1   nations. 2    
  9  και   τριτος   αγγελος   ηκολουθησεν   αυτοις   λεγων   εν   φωνη   μεγαλη   ει  
    And   a third   angel   followed   them,   saying,   with   a voice 2   loud, 1   If  
τις   το   θηριον   προσκυνει   και   την   εικονα   αυτου   και   λαμβανει  
anyone   the 4   beast 5   does 1 homage 2 to 3   and   ♦   image 2   its, 1   and   receives  
χαραγμα   επι   του   μετωπου   αυτου   η   επι   την   χειρα   αυτου    
a mark   on   his forehead   ♦   ♦   or   upon   his hand,   ♦   ♦    
  10  και   αυτος   πιεται   εκ   του   οινου   του   θυμου   του   θεου   του  
    also   he   shall drink   of   the   wine   of the   fury   ♦   of God   which  
κεκερασμενου   ακρατου   εν   τω   ποτηριω   της   οργης   αυτου   και  
is mixed   undiluted   in   the   cup   of his wrath,   ♦   ♦   and  
βασανισθησεται   εν   πυρι   και   θειω   ενωπιον   των   αγιων   αγγελων   και  
he shall be tormented   in   fire   and   brimstone,   before   the   holy   angels,   and  
ενωπιον   του   αρνιου    
before   the   Lamb.    
  11  και   ο   καπνος   του   βασανισμου   αυτων   αναβαινει   εις   αιωνας  
    And   the   smoke   of their torment   ♦   ♦   goes up   to   ages  
αιωνων   και   ουκ   εχουσιν   αναπαυσιν   ημερας   και   νυκτος   οι  
of ages,   and   they have no   ♦   respite   day   and   night   who  
προσκυνουντες   το   θηριον   και   την   εικονα   αυτου   και   ει   τις  
do homage to   the   beast   and   its image,   ♦   ♦   and   if   anyone  
λαμβανει   το   χαραγμα   του   ονοματος   αυτου    
receives   the   mark   of its name.   ♦   ♦    
  12  ωδε   υπομονη   των   αγιων   εστιν   ωδε   οι   τηρουντες   τας  
    Here   [the] 2 endurance 3   of 4 the 5   saints 6   is, 1   here   they who   keep   the  
εντολας   του   θεου   και   την   πιστιν   ιησου    
commandments   ♦   of God   and   the   faith   of Jesus.    
  13  και   ηκουσα   φωνης   εκ   του   ουρανου   λεγουσης   μοι   γραψον   μακαριοι
    And   I heard   a voice   out of   the   heaven,   saying   to me,   Write,   Blessed
  οι   νεκροι   οι   εν   κυριω   αποθνησκοντες   απαρτι   ναι   λεγει   το  
  the   dead   who   in   [the] Lord   die   from henceforth.   Yea,   saith   the  
πνευμα   ινα   αναπαυσωνται   εκ   των   κοπων   αυτων   τα   δε   εργα  
Spirit,   that   they may rest   from   their labours;   ♦   ♦   ♦   and   works 2  
αυτων   ακολουθει   μετ   αυτων    
their 1   follow   with   them.    
  14  και   ειδον   και   ιδου   νεφελη   λευκη   και   επι   την   νεφελην   καθημενος  
    And   I saw,   and   behold,   a cloud 2   white, 1   and   upon   the   cloud   [one] sitting  
ομοιος   υιω   ανθρωπου   εχων   επι   της   κεφαλης   αυτου   στεφανον  
like   [the] Son   of man,   having   on   ♦   head 2   his 1   a crown 2  
χρυσουν   και   εν   τη   χειρι   αυτου   δρεπανον   οξυ    
golden, 1   and   in   his hand   ♦   ♦   a sickle 2   sharp. 1    
  15  και   αλλος   αγγελος   εξηλθεν   εκ   του   ναου   κραζων   εν   μεγαλη   φωνη  
    And   another   angel   came out   of   the   temple,   crying   with   loud   voice  
τω   καθημενω   επι   της   νεφελης   πεμψον   το   δρεπανον   σου   και  
to him   sitting   on   the   cloud,   Send   thy sickle   ♦   ♦   and  
θερισον   οτι   ηλθεν   σοι   η   ωρα   του   θερισαι   οτι   εξηρανθη   ο  
reap;   because   is come   to thee   the   hour   ♦   to reap,   because   is dried   the  
θερισμος   της   γης    
harvest   of the   earth.    
  16  και   εβαλεν   ο   καθημενος   επι   την   νεφελην   το   δρεπανον   αυτου  
    And   put 6 forth 7   he 1   sitting 2   upon 3   the 4   cloud 5   his sickle   ♦   ♦  
επι   την   γην   και   εθερισθη   η   γη    
upon   the   earth,   and   was reaped   the   earth.    
  17  και   αλλος   αγγελος   εξηλθεν   εκ   του   ναου   του   εν   τω   ουρανω  
    And   another   angel   came   out of   the   temple   which [is]   in   the   heaven,  
εχων   και   αυτος   δρεπανον   οξυ    
having 3   also 2   he 1   a sickle 2   sharp. 1    
  18  και   αλλος   αγγελος   εξηλθεν   εκ   του   θυσιαστηριου   εχων   εξουσιαν  
    And   another   angel   came   out of   the   altar,   having   authority  
επι   του   πυρος   και   εφωνησεν   κραυγη   μεγαλη   τω   εχοντι   το   δρεπανον  
over   ♦   fire,   and   he called   with a cry 2   loud 1   to hm   having   ♦   sickle 3  
το   οξυ   λεγων   πεμψον   σου   το   δρεπανον   το   οξυ   και   τρυγησον   τους  
the 1   sharp, 2   saying,   Send   thy   ♦   sickle 2   ♦   sharp, 1   and   gather   the  
βοτρυας   της   γης   οτι   ηκμασαν   αι   σταφυλαι   αυτης    
bunches   of the   earth;   because   are fully ripe   ♦   grapes 2   her. 1    
  19  και   εβαλεν   ο   αγγελος   το   δρεπανον   αυτου   εις   την   γην   και  
    And   put 3 forth 4   the 1   angel 2   his sickle   ♦   ♦   to   the   earth,   and  
ετρυγησεν   την   αμπελον   της   γης   και   εβαλεν   εις   την   ληνον   του  
gathered   the   vine   of the   earth,   and   cast [the fruit]   into   ♦   wine-press 3   of 4 the 5  
θυμου   του   θεου   την   μεγαλην    
fury 6   ♦   of 7 God 8   the 1   great; 2    
  20  και   επατηθη   η   ληνος   εξω   της   πολεως   και   εξηλθεν   αιμα   εκ   της
    and   was trodden   the   winepress   outside   the   city,   and   came 2 forth 3   blood 1   out of   the
  ληνου   αχρι   των   χαλινων   των   ιππων   απο   σταδιων  
  winepress   as far as   the   bits   of the   horses,   to the distance of   furlongs 5  
χιλιων   εξακοσιων    
a 1 thousand 2   six 3 hundred. 4
