Second Epistle to the Corinthians
| For we know | ♦ | that | if | ♦ | earthly 2 | our 1 | house | of the | tabernacle | be destroyed, |
| a building | from | God | we have, | a house | not made with hands, | eternal | in | the |
| ουρανοις | ||
| heavens. |
| For indeed | ♦ | in | this | we groan, | our dwelling | ♦ | ♦ | which [is] |
| from | heaven | to 2 be 3 clothed 4 with 5 | longing: 1 |
| if indeed | also | being clothed, | not | naked | we shall be found. |
| For indeed | ♦ | who 2 | are 3 | in 4 | the 5 | tabernacle 6 | we groan 1 | being burdened; | since |
| not 3 | we 1 do 2 wish | to be unclothed, | but | to be clothed upon, | that | may be swallowed up | the |
| θνητον | υπο | της | ζωης | |||||
| mortal | by | ♦ | life. |
| Now he who | ♦ | wrought out | us | for | this same thing [is] | ♦ | God, | who |
| also | gave | to us | the | earnest | of the | Spirit. |
| Being confident 2 | therefore 3 | always, 1 | and | knowing | that | being at home | in | the |
| body | we are from home | away from | the | Lord, |
| (for by faith | ♦ | ♦ | we walk, | not | by | sight;) |
| we are confident, | ♦ | and | are pleased | rather | to be from home | out of | the | body |
| and | to be at home | with | the | Lord. |
| Wherefore | also | we are ambitious, | whether | being at home | or | being from home |
| well-pleasing | to him | to be. |
| For all 2 | ♦ | ♦ | we 1 | be 4 manifested 5 | must 3 | before | the | judgment seat |
| of the | Christ, | that | may 2 receive 3 | each 1 | the things [done] | in | the | body, |
| according to | what | he did, | whether | good | or | evil. |
| Knowing | therefore | the | terror | of the | Lord, | men 3 | we 1 persuade 2 | but to God |
| ♦ | we have been manifested, | and I hope | ♦ | also | in | ♦ | your consciences | ♦ |
| πεφανερωσθαι | ||
| to have been manifested. |
| For not | ♦ | again | ourselves | do we commend | to you, | but | occasion | are giving |
| to you | of boasting | in behalf of | us, | that | ye may have [such] | towards | those | in 2 |
| appearance 3 | boasting 1 | and | not | in heart. |
| For whether | ♦ | we were beside ourselves, | [it was] to God; | or | are sober-minded [it is] |
| υμιν | ||
| for you. |
| For the | ♦ | love | of the | Christ | constrains | us, | having judged | this, | that | if | one |
| for 2 | all 3 | died, 1 | then | ♦ | all | died; |
| and | for | all | he died, | that | they who | live | no longer | to themselves |
| should live, | but | to him who | for | them | died | and | was raised again. |
| So that | we | from | ♦ | now | no one | know | according to | flesh; | but if | ♦ | even |
| we have known | according to | flesh | Christ, | yet | now | no longer | we know [him]. |
| So that | if | anyone | [be] in | Christ [there is] | a new | creation: | the | old things | passed away; | lo, |
| have become | new | all things: | ♦ |
| and all things | ♦ | ♦ | [are] of | ♦ | God, | who | reconciled | us | to himself, |
| by | Jesus | Christ, | and | gave | to us | the | service | ♦ | of reconciliation: |
| how | that | God | was | in | Christ | [the] world | reconciling | to himself, | not |
| reckoning | to them | ♦ | their offences, | ♦ | and | having put | in | us | the |
| λογον | της | καταλλαγης | ||||
| word | ♦ | of reconciliation. |
| For | Christ | therefore | we are ambassadors, | as it were | ♦ | God | exhorting |
| by | us, | we beseech | for | Christ, | Be reconciled | ♦ | to God. |
| For him who | ♦ | knew not | ♦ | sin | for 4 | us 5 | sin 3 | he 1 made, 2 |
| that | we | might become | righteousness | of God | in | him. |
