And Agrippa

said,

It is allowed

thee

for

thyself

to speak.

Then

Paul

made a defence,

stretching out

the

hand:

Concerning

all

of which

I am accused

by

Jews,

king

Agrippa,

myself

being about

to make defence

before

thee

to-day.

shut up,

And

in

all

the

synagogues

often

punishing

them,

ηναγκαζον		βλασφημειν		περισσως		τε		εμμαινομενος		αυτοις
I compelled [them]		to blaspheme.		Exceedingly 4		and 1		being 2 furious 3		against them

from heaven

above

the

a voice

speaking

me

saying

in the

Hebrew

language,

Saul,

Saul,

τι

με

διωκεις

σκληρον

σοι

προς

κεντρα

λακτιζειν

why

me

persecutest thou?

[it is] hard

for thee

against

goads

to kick.

Lord?

Jesus

rise up,

and

stand

on

thy feet;

for, for this purpose

I appeared

to thee,

to appoint

thee

an attendant

and

a witness

both of what

I shall appear

to thee,

from among

people

the

nations,

whom

I send,

to open

darkness

heavenly

these things

Jews

having seized

in

the

temple,

Paul;

I would wish

one another

saying,
