Theological Term This Cults Definition of the Theological Term
Christ Only at the time when Jesus was baptized did he become the Christ, or Messiah.
Death of Jesus A literal death of the man Jesus.
God The greatest personality in the universe, he is omnipotent and immutable, but not omnipresent.
Holy Spirit Denies the Holy Spirit's personality and deity; an active force of God.
Jesus

The first of God's creations; is considered to be the archangel Michael, but is not considered in any way to be equal with God the Father; he was only a perfect man.

Life After Death All who reject the Watchtower's message will be annihilated; there is no eternal punishment in hell; the dead are unconscious and inactive.
Resurrection of Jesus The bodily resurrection of Jesus did not occur; he was raised as a spirit creature.
Salvation Only conies through accepting their message, associating with the New World Society, and dedicating oneself to do the will of Jehovah.
Sin The transgression of God's law; all are born in sin.
Trinity Viewed as an unbiblical doctrine, with Satan as its originator.
