M. Ambiuius

 9AD-12AD

All we know about this procurator was that he existed and that while he was ruling the province, Salome, sister of king Herod (whether this is Herod the Great or one of his sons the tetrarchs is not clear), died and left a great deal of valuable land in the area to Augustus Caesar's wife Livia (also called Julia).

He is also known as Marcus Ambivius and Marcus Ambibulus.
